Step-by-step explanation:

if length of train B= 2Y and it passes through a

pole in 1 minute= 60 seconds

=> length of train A= Y and it passes through a

pole in 20 seconds.

=> speed of train A / speed of train B

= (Y/20) / (2Y/60)

=( 1/20)/ (1/30)

= 30/20

= 3/2

thus the ratio of speed of A and B= 3 : 2
