TRANSLATE THE FOLLOWING WORD EQUATION INTO CHEMICAL EQUATION AND BALANCE IT
1. Iron reacts with copper sulphate solution, with the formation of iron sulphate and copper.
2. Magnesium when heated in an atmosphere of nitrogen, catches fire and forms a compound magnesium nitride.
3. Aluminium burns in chlorine to form aluminium chloride.
4. Potassium metal reacts with water to give potassium hydroxide and hydrogen gas.
5. Aluminium hydroxide on heating decompose to give aluminium oxide and water.
6. Zinc carbonate decompose to give Zinc oxide and carbon dioxide.
7. Potassium iodide reacts with lead nitrate to produce potassium nitrate and lead iodide
8. Ferric oxide reacts with carbon monoxide to give iron and carbon dioxide.
9. Calcium carbonate reacts with hydrochloric acid to form calcium chloride, water and carbon dioxide.
10.Aluminium reacts with sulphuric acid to give aluminium sulphate and hydrogen gas.
