Hey there!
Transportation is a life process in which a substance is absorbed (or made) in one part of body of an organism is carried to other parts of its body by various means.
The transport system of humans consists of circulating fluid, called Blood, which is pumped by a muscular organ (heart) and a system of interconnecting tubes, i.e. Blood vessels.
The tissue fluid is the medium in which the exchange of gases and nutrients takes place between blood and body tissues, before it returns to blood vessels.
The the Circulatory System transports substances such as,
1. Nutrients
2. Salts
3. Oxygen
4. Hormones
5. Waste products etc.
