•The raw cotton is loosened and cleaned from dried leaves and straws.

The cleaned cotton is put into a machine.

•The sliver of the cotton fibre is formed and is converted into a yarn by spinning machines. To prevent the formation of tangles.

The yarn is now dyed with colours by a process called dyeing.

•Now the dYed threads are wound on reels by process of reeling.

•Wounded reals are woven into cloth by a process of weaving.

•The woven cloth is cut and stitched into the required model to make a good dress.

•These are the steps in the making of a dress.
