'Tree conservation' is being talked about yet trees are being felled indiscriminately - all in the name of progress and development. Global warming, Tsunamis, earthquakes, landslides, floods are all the results of our rampant felling of trees. The least we can do is create awareness of this menace on the occasion of World Day.
