This is because trees provide food, oxygen, medicine, for building houses, They are food to all herbivores animals. If there were no trees human shall not exist on earth

DeySuchi: trees provide many things but that's not the reasons why they r lungs of earth it is because they purify the air that we breathe which is the function of lungs in our body
