The value of a = 2

Given:

a-5 = 3-3a

To find:

Find the value of a using Trial and Error method

Solution:

Let's know about the Trial and Error method

Trial and Error method:

In Mathematics, the Trial and Error method is a basic method that is problem-solving. It is characterized by a number of times, different attempts that are made repeatedly until success or the variable gives a numerical. The issue is repeated via several phases until the correct solution is obtained.

Given a-5 = 3-3a

Take a = 0, 1, 2, 3...  and find at which value the equation will be satisfied.

a = 0 => 0- 5 = 3 - 3(0)  => -5 \neq 3

a = 1 =>  1 - 5 = 3 - 3(1) => - 4 \neq 0

a = 2 => 2 - 5 = 3 - 3(2) = -3 = -3

From the above calculations,

at a = 2, the given equation will be satisfied

The value of a = 2
