In ΔABC and ΔBDE.......                                                                                          

     ∠ABC=∠BDE(60°)    (angles of equilateral triangle is 60°)

       ∠BAC=∠BDE(60°)

∴ΔABC SIMILAR ΔBDE by AA similarity.

∴ar(ΔABC)/ar(ΔBDE) =BC²/BD²=BC²/(1/3BC)²=1/1/9=9/1

∴THE RATIO IS 9;1
