area of = 1/2×b×h

here this is an equilateral triangle so all the side of this triangle will be equal

AB=BC=AC=8cm

there for area of = 1/2×8×8

=1×8×8/2

=16/2

=8

=>AC =8

As,ABC is an equilateral triangle

therefore,AB=BC=CA=8

Area of equilateral ∆,

=>\sf \dfrac{√3}{4}×(side)^2

=>\sf \dfrac{√3}{4}×(8)^2

=>\sf \dfrac{√3}{4}×64

=>\sf √3×16

=>\sf 1.732×16

=>\sf 27.712

therefore,area of triangle =\sf 27.712units^2
