Area of triangle ABC = 1/2 *b*h
= 1/2* BC*AD
=1/2*9cm*6cm
=1/2*54
=27cmsq
Therefore area of triangle ABC = 27 cm sq

Length of CE =

Area of triangle = 1/2* b* h

27 cm sq = 1/2* AB*CE

27cm sq = 7.5* CE

1/2*7.5* CE = 27 cm sq

7.5 cm * CE = 27 cm sq /1/2

7.5 cm * CE = 27 cm sq * 2

7.5 cm * CE = 54 cm sq

CE = 54 cm sq /7.5 cm

CE = 7.2 cm
