Given : AB=AC and AD is perpendicular

To prove : Angle B = angle C

In a isoceles triangle the angles opposite to equal sides are equal.

Hence, it is proved the angle B=angle C

Step-by-step explanation:

For triangle ABD and ACD,

AB=AC(Given)

angle ADB=angle ADC (Each=90°)

AD=DA (Common)

Hence,triangle ABD is congruent to triangle ACD (By SAS axiom)

hence,angle B=angle C (By cpct)
