Theorem:- The ratio of the area of two similar triangles are equal to the ratio of the squares of their corresponding sides.

Given:- ∆ABC ~∆DEF and their areas are 64cm² and 100cm² respectively,EF=12cm

TO FIND:- BC=?

From the theorem (mentioned above) we get,

→bc²/ef²= 64/100

→bc²/12²=64/100

→bc²=64/100 x 144

→bc²=92.16

→bc=9.6cm

Therefore,the measurement of bc= 9.6cm
