Our national symbols, all the time, irrespective of our state, caste, religion, and gender instill a feeling of belonging and love for our nation. The tricolor reminds us of the heritage that we belong to and the freedom we got which is a result of sacrifices of countless unsung heroes. When we unfurl the national flag and sing our national anthem, it symbolizes our tribute to all those heroes who made it possible. The national emblem marks and proclaims India as a democratic republic.

Our national animal and bird, i.e. tiger and peacock bring the glory of the past back to our mind and dawn upon us a realization that we need to respect their freedom and their existence. Our national flower lotus signifies the beauty and quality of thriving against odds. Our national song brings the importance of our motherland and offers our worship to her. 

Being Indians we take pride in our national symbols and vow to protect them with our unceasing efforts.
