trick of knowing percentage of a number

trick to know percentage of a number is simple
let take an example
there r u numbers a and d
so percentage of a= a÷a+b×100
and percentage of b=b÷a+b×100
indirectly we can say that percentage is equal to the number upon sum of all numbers multiplied by 100
