right top corner be y

right bottom corner be z

left bottom corner be a

so relations are

x+y = 8. (1)

x+a = 13. (2)

y+z = 8. (3)

a-z = 6. (4)

from (1),

x = 8-y

put it in (2)

8-y + a = 13

a-y = 5

a= 5+y

put it in (4)

5+y-z = 6

y-z = 1

y = z+1

put it in (3)

z+1+z = 8

2z + 1 = 8

2z = 7

z = 7/2

and y = 9/2

a = 19/2

x = 7/2
