trigger warning!!!
so, I have a history of self-harm and can't get the thought out of my head. any coping mechanisms?

Yeah, so I also use to self harm been 2 years clean now. The way I try ignore the urges is by playing with my pet or talking with my friend. Sometimes I draw it out or make music, since I play some musical instruments!!!

Also please seek professional help if you can.
