we know

tan =sin/cos

sin(a-b)= sin a cos b -cos a sin b

cos(a-b)=cos a cos b+ sin a sin b

now we proceed:-

(I'm taking alpha and beta as a and b)

tan(a-b)

= sin (a-b) / cos(a-b)

=sin a cos b-cos a sin b/ cos a cos b +sin a sin b

(divide numerator and denominator by cos a cosb )

=tan A -tanB/1+tanAtanB
