yes becoz Relative density is equal to the ratio of density of substance to density of water. Since both have the same dimensions, thus their ratio is dimensionless

Answer:

Relative density is a dimensionless quantity. Thus, it is true.

Explanation:

Dimensionless quantities are those quantities which do not have any dimension.

Relative density is the ratio of density of the substance to the density of water.

Since both substance and water have same units as well as dimensions thus on taking their ratio the dimensions gets cancelled and hence the dimension of relative density is dimensionless.
