It is false that the cow gets its carbon from photosynthesis.

  • All the living organisms play a significant role in the carbon cycle.
  • By consuming plants, animals can acquire their carbon. This carbon is then released in the process of respiration in the form of carbon dioxide. Bacteria and fungi like microorganisms return the carbon into the surrounding when dead animals and plants are decomposed by them.
  • In animals like cow food and oxygen are combined together inside the cells to provide carbon and aldo to generate energy for daily activity.

Hence, it is not true that the cow uses the process of photosynthesis to get it's carbon.
