A glass jar has to be taken.
A sweet potato has to be with four toothpicks such that it sits in the jar but does not touch its bottom.
Water has to be filled in the jar carefully so that it touches the bottom of sweet potato but does not submerge it.
The level of water has to be maintained.
In a week or so the sweet potato will grow small shoots and gradually the roots which will be followed by the leaves.
