My experiment is like this. First of all I filled water in a bowl and put the potato in water and kept the bowl at safety place in the room.

After some day I got my observation which is I saw in the bowl that there is a formation of root buds on the side of potato facing the water.

Adventitious root buds will be formed on the side of sweet potato plant.

Plants produce new tissues and structures throughout their life from meristems located at the tips. Plant structures, including, roots, buds, and shoots, that develop in unusual locations are called adventitious.
