what causes darkness ? what comes along the way of the other so as darkness can occur? what period does the period of day and night comes? the answers are; the thing that causes darkness is the shadow that earth gives when it comes in the way of the sun. it blocks the light way and so darkness will come along. the longitudes and latitudes are the ones that bring about the periods of day and night.
