1.L.H.S=10×[6-(-2)]
=10×(6+2)
=10×8
=80
R.H.S=10×6-10×(-2)
=60-(-20)
=60+20
=80
L.H.S=R.H.S
2. L.H.S=(-15)[(-7)(-1)]
=(-15)(7)=(-105)
R.H.S=(-15)(-7)-(-15)(-1)
=105-15
=90
L.H.S not equal to R.H.S.

(1) Yes
LHS = 10 x 8
= 80
RHS = 60 + 10 x 2
= 60 + 20
= 80
LHS = RHS
(2) No
LHS = -15 x 7
= -105
RHS = 15 x 7 - 15
= 105 - 15
= 90
LHS is not equal to RHS
