try to prove the lengths of tangents to a circle drawn from a point are equal without using Pythagoras theorem

In triangles ORP and ORQ
   OR = OR  -------common
   OP = OQ --------radii
   angle RPO = RQO    ---- 90 degree

So by congruency rule
ORP is congruent to ORQ
Hence , RP = RQ
