The Oncogenic virus or tumor inducing virus is a DNA virus or a RNA virus that is able to cause malignant transformation of cells.

It also induces a neoplasia in its host which is causally associated with human tumors.

Oncogenic viruses comprise of Retroviruses, like leukemia, virus of cats, cattle,  and chickens; Herpesviruses, like EBV-induced Burkitt's lymphoma, Asiatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma; DNA virus, eg HPV. Thus the correct answer is “B”
