Original bill was of 75 &
everyone contributed Rs25 each.
So 25*3= 75.
But they got a cash back of Rs 5 on the total bill. So the New bill is
Rs 75-5=70.
Now each got a cash back of Rs 1 from the waiter.
So their actual contribution (each) reduced to 25-1= 24.
Total contribution = 24*3= 72.
.
Now 72 they contributed But the bill was of 70 (after rs 5 cash back) and the remaining Rs 2 are in waiter's pocket. (72-70=2)
.
Their actual contribution Rs 72 & the money in waiter's pocket i.e. Rs 2 are to be subtracted to get the amount of the bill. (Not Added)
