It is given that 20 years from now a persons age will be 4 times his present age. Then, we have to find his present age.

Let x be the present age of the person.

After 20 years persons age will be

20 + x

Given that age of a person after 20 years will be equal to 4 times of his present age

I.e,

20 + x = 4x \\ 20 = 4x - x \\ 20 = 3x \\ x = 20 \div 3 \\ x = 6.66

Therefore, the persons present age will be approximately 7 years.
