according to the question:
2x+(2+x)3=21
2x+6+3x=21
5x=21-6
5x=15
x=15/5
x=3

At first we made an equation i.e 2x+(2+x)3=21
then
then 2x+(3×2)+(3×x)=21 as 3 was multiplied in the first step to the whole bracket 2+x , thus we will multiply 3 tp to both the numbers 2 and x
now 2x+6+3x=21
and x=3
