According to the question,

Twice of x + half of x = 25

2(x) + x/2 = 25

2x + x/2

Taking LCM, LCM = 2

(4x + x) /2 = 25

4x + x = 25 × 2

5x = 50

x = 50/5

x = 10



Required number is 10
