we know that sum of two adjacent angles of parallelogram =180
7x+2x=180
9x=180

let 1st angle x1=2x
and 2nd angle x2=7x
then

2x+7x=180
9x=180
x=180/9
x=20
hence because angle are in 2:7
so
 x1=2*20=40
