Let the angles be 2x and 7x.
We know that adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary. This means,
2x + 7x = 180°
9x = 180°
x = 180°/9
x = 20°
Therefore, the angles are 40° and 140°.

Let two angles be 2x and 7x ........ ∵ Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary................... ∴ 2x+7x =180 ................... 9x = 180................. x = 20....................... Now put the values of x ............. ∴ 1st angle = 2x = 40° and 2nd angle = 7x = 140°
