Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 10 cm and 15 cm. The altitude corresponding to the side 15 cm is 9 cm. Find the altitude corresponding to the side 10 cm ?bro BRO can some one help

Answer :

Area of a parallelogram = Side * corresponding altitude

Altitude corresponding to side 15cm is 9cm.

Let the altitude to the side 10cm be x.

Area of parallelogram = 15cm * 9cm

                                     =  135 cm

Next , 10 *x = 135 cm^2

          10x    = 135 cm^2

           x       = 135/10

           x       = 13.5 cm
