Two adjacent sides are 3.2 cm and 4 cm

Let h1 be the altitude corresponding to the side 3.2cm

Let h2 be the altitude corresponding to the side 4cm

We know that area of parallelogram remains same.

Area of Parallelogram= Base*Altitude

3.2*h1=4*h2

h1/h2=4/3.2

Ratio of their altitudes=4:3.2

or we can conclude that

Ratio of altitudes in parallelogram is reverse ratio of adjacent sides.
