the longest side would be 7 cm and the shortest side would be 5 cm  so the perimeter would be as rectangle , 2 (l+b )

2( l+b) =  2( 7+ 5)

2 x  12 = 24 cm

and its area will be l x b  same as to find the area of the rectangle

l x b = 7 x 5 = 35
