Answer:

AB  = 48 cm

BC  = 18 cm

DC   = 48 cm

AD   = 18 cm

Explanation:

Adjacent sides of a parallelogram are equal and one of the diagonals is equal to any one of the sides of this parallelogram.

Let, ABCD be the parallelogram.

Given : Two adjacent sides of the parallelogram are in ratio 3:8.

And, perimeter of the parallelogram is 132cm

AD = 3x cm

DC = 8x cm

AD = BC and DC = AB [  Opposite sides of parallelogram are equal ]

So, Perimeter of the parallelogram

=> AB + BC + DC + AD = 132 cm

=> 8x + 3x + 8x + 3x = 132

=> 22x = 132

=> x = 132/22

=> x = 6

So,

AB = 8x = 8×6 = 48 cm

BC = 3x = 3×6 = 18 cm

DC = 8x = 8×6 = 48 cm

AD = 3x = 3×6 = 18 cm
