Answer:

let the adjacent sides be 5x and 3x

We know that opposite side of parallelogram are equal

so according to question :-

5x+3x+5x+3x = 48

16x = 48

x = 48/16 = 3

so

5x = 5*3 = 15

3x = 3*3 = 9

so the sides are 15,9,15,9

Solution:-

Adjacent sides= 5:3

Perimeter= 48cm

Length of each side=?

_________________________

Opposite sides of PARALLELOGRAM are equal.

Thus, 3rd and 4th side= 5:3

Let length of sides be = x

Perimeter of llgm= sum of all sides

48= 5x+3x+5x+3x

48= 16x

48/16=x

x=3cm

Length of 1 and 3rd side= 5×3=15cm

Length of 2nd and 4th side= 3×3=9cm
