area of ||gm = base × height =15×8=120
as area = base × height =10 ×distance b/w shorter sides
10×distance=120
distance b/w shorter sides =120/10=12cm

if it really helped you , then please brainiest.

Area of parallelogram = base × height
Taking AB as base
Area= 15×8= 120cm^2
NOW for distance between shorter sides which is equal to the height corresponding to base BC
Area =120
Base ×height =120
10 × height = 120
Height = 12 cm
