Answer:

Let the two angles are x and 5x.

As we know that the adjacent angles in a parallelogram are supplementary.

∴x+5x=180°

⇒x=  180/6

x =30°

Therefore, the two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are 30° and 30°×5=150°.

As we know that opposite angles in a parallelogram are equal.

Hence the angles of paralellogram are 30°,150°,30° and 150° respectively.

Given :

  • Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio = 1 : 5

To find :

  • All angles of a paralellogram

According to the question,

Let the ratio be 1x and 5x

➞ 1x + 5x = 180°

➞ 6x = 180°

➞ x = 180° ÷ 6

➞ x = 30°

So,the value of x is 30°

Value of 1x :

➞ 1x

➞ 1(30°)

➞ 30°

Value of 5x :

➞ 5x

➞ 5(30°)

➞ 150°

As we know,

Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.

  • So, the angles of a paralellogram is 30°, 150°, 30° and 150°.
