Answer:

Question:

Two angles of a triangle are 125° and 40°. Find the measure of the third angle.

Answer :

Sum of angles in a triangle = 180°

So,

Let the 3rd angle be x.

Add the all the angles.

125°+40°+x = 180°

165°+x = 180°

x= 180°-165°

x= 15°

Therefore , the third angle is 15°

Given :

⬤ One Angle of Triangle is 125° .

⬤ Second Angle of Triangle is 40° .

To Find :

⬤ Measure of third Angle of Triangle .

Solution :

  • First Angle = 125° .
  • Second Angle = 40° .

Let :

  • Third Angle of Triangle be x .

As we know that , Sum of all angles of Triangle is 180 degree . Hence ,

\sf{125^{\circ}+40^{\circ}+x=180^{\circ}}

165 + x = 180

x = 180 - 165

x = 15

Therefore , The Third Angle of Triangle (x) is 15 degree .

Check :

125° + 40° + x = 180°

125 + 40 + 15 = 180°

165 + 15 = 180°

180° = 180°

Hence Checked
