Step-by-step explanation:
Let the common difference of both the A.P.’s = d
and First term of Ist A.P. = a1
also first term of 2nd A .P. = a2
Then, 100th term of 1st A .P. = a1+99d
100th term of 2nd A .P. = a2+99d
Difference between their 100th term = 100 (given)
⇒ (a1+99d) – (a2+99d) = 100
⇒ a1–a2 = 100 ...(i)
Now, a1000 of Ist A.P. = a1+999d
and a1000 of Ilnd A .P. = a2+999d
Hence, difference between their 1000th terms
= (a1+999d) (a2+999d) = a1–a2
We know that a1–a2 = 100
So the difference between their 1000th terms = 100
Hope this helps you
All the best for your exam
