Let the first term of first and second ap is A1 and a1.

A1 = -1 and a1 = -8

d is same.

A4-a4= A + 3d -(a+3d)

= -1 + 3d-(-8+3d)

=-1+8 +3d - 3d = 7

Thus difference between the fourth terms of AP is 7.
