No, they can't...
Because sound needs a medium for its propagation...
In space there is no air... (i.e) no medium and it is vacuum...

yaarr how far they are in distance is not important in space.. the thing is..@

Sound can not travel in space due their is lack of air.. This acts as a vacume. In vacume sound does not travel so it is not possible.


Astronomers talk to each other by radio pro speakers (mic's).This radiation travel the sound and reach to each other.....#
