Two balance dice are thrown once . write down the possibly outcome of this experiment. what is probability that 1) The product of number obtained oñ upper face of both dice is even number. 2) The sum of number on both the dice is a prime number.

Total possible outcomes = 36
(1)Favourable outcomes = 27
p(E) getting a Even number = favourable outcomes/ possible outcomes = 27/36= 3/4
(2) Favourable outcomes = 12
p(E) getting a prime numbers = possible outcomes/Favourable outcomes = 12/36= 1/3
