if brakes are applied then the both both will move in the opposite direction the brakes are applied due to the inertia of motion iron ball will move with greater speed because it has more mass and inertia and has more inertia of motion than the rubber ball.

Answer:
yes the balls start rolling. in forward direction because of law of inertia. no they will not move with same speed because mass of balls are different and mass is directly proportion to inertia and iron ball has greater mass than rubber so inertia is also greater . iron ball speed is lesser than rubber
