Two bicycles start moving from the same point. One bicycle travels towards north at a speed of 15 km/hr. Two hours later, the second bicycle starts travelling towards east at a speed of 10 km/hr. How long after the first bicycle starts travelling, the two bicycles are 50 km apart?

Distance travelled by the 1st car in 15 seconds

\bf{ = OA = 36 × 5/18 × 15m = 150m }

Distance travelled by the 2nd car in 15 seconds \bf{ = OB = 48 × 5/18 × 15m = 200m }

\therefore Distance between them after 15 seconds :-

\bf{ AB=V150²200²√22500+40000= √62500 =250m }
