as we know momentum =mass *velocity
momentum of A = 150 * 3=450kg m/s
momentum of B = 250 * 3=750kg m/s

Given that,

Mass of body A, m = 150 g = 0.15 kg

Mass of body B, M = 250 g = 0.25 kg

Speed of both bodies, v = 3 m/s

To find,

The linear momentum of two particles.

Solution,

The product of mass and velocity is equal to momentum. It is given by :

p = mv

The momentum of the system is given by:

p=v(m+M)\\\\p=3\times (0.15+0.25)\\\\p=1.2\ kg-m/s

So, the momentum of the system of two particles is 1.2 kg-m/s.
