Since, Potential Energy = weight × vertical distance

P.E. = mgh

Height at which both bodies were kept are h and 2h respectively

P.E. 1 = mg×h

P.E. 2 = mg×2h =》 2×(mgh)

RATIO =》 1:2

Hey there!

Mass of first body = Mass of second body

i.e M_A = M_B

Heights = h and 2h respectively.

Now,

\dfrac{P.E_{A}}{P.E_B}\\\\=\dfrac{mgh}{mg2h}\\\\=\dfrac{1}{2}\\\\=1 : 2

Hope it Helps You!
