Here body of mass 2 kg will move down and mass 1 kg moves up with same acceleration
write equations
2g-T=2a ---------- (1)
T-1g=1a ------------(2)
add both eqs
g=3a or
a=g/3= 10/3=3.33 m/s^2
putting value of a in eq 2 we get
T=10+(10/3) or
T=40/3= 13.33 N
