firstl box contains pen and pencil in the ratio of 3:2

second box contains pen and pencil in the ratio of 4:5

the total number of pen and pencil in the boxes of first and second is equal

then total number of pen and pencil in the past tense again box is x

then, 3y + 2y = 4z + 5z
5y = 9z
y/z = 9/5
y:z = 9:5

no of pen in first box is 3*9 = 27
no of pencil in second box is 2*9 = 18
so total no of pen and pencil in first box is 27+18 = 45

no of pen in the second box is 4*5 = 20
no of pencil in the second boxes is 5*5 = 25
so no of pen and pencil in the second box is 20+25 = 45

no of pen in first and second boxes is 27+20 = 47
