Two boys A and B do the same work in 5 min and 6 min respectively. Which has the two has more power and why?

As Power is defined as work done per unit
time

i.e., Power = work done / time taken .

If work done is same that means if work is constant then ..,

Power is inversely proportional to time i.e., Power ∝ 1/time .

It means bigger the value of time, smaller the value of Power.

In the question A takes 1 minute less than B so A will have more Power than B .

and, for B = 6 mins.

since,A takes lesser time to do the same work than B,so A has more power.

WHY?


we know,

power is inversely proportional to time,

that is

p = k/t

where,k is constant of proportionality.
